A smile is one of the first things that people notice! Our patients tell us all the time that orthodontic treatment literally changed their life, opened new opportunities, improved their outlook, or unlocked their child’s confidence and potential.
Our goal at Advantage Orthodontics is to make orthodontic treatment affordable to everyone. Orthodontics is an investment for children, adolescents and adults alike. Our office is dedicated to helping make orthodontics an option for all those interested and in need of treatment. Fees do vary depending upon the complexity of each case, however a personalized payment plan can be arranged and we will work with you to find one that is right for your budget.
• No interest financing with low down payments and low monthly payments
• Paid-in-full discounts
• Multi-family member discounts
• We accept Care Credit – a low interest medical loan program with no down payment required and terms of 48-60 months. (www.carecredit.com)
Please call our financial coordinator, Molly, to discuss the many options we offer.
Advantage Orthodontics realizes insurance benefits can be difficult to understand. We are here to help you maximize your orthodontic benefits and we are happy to submit a pre-determination of eligibility and benefits on your behalf. Please note, orthodontic insurance payments are spread over the term of your treatment. Benefit amounts and payment schedules are determined by your insurer and not by our office.
Please be aware that there are factors which can change the ESTIMATED insurance benefits calculated at the start of treatment. These include:
• Your employer changing insurance carrier, reducing or eliminating orthodontic benefits
• A change of employment during treatment
Whenever possible we will take assignment of benefits in our office; however, in cases where benefits are paid to you directly, our office will submit all claims on your behalf.
Since insurance companies pay orthodontic benefits over the course of treatment, your insurance will need to remain in place and unchanged in order to receive the full benefits estimated at the start of treatment.
If you change your insurance plan during treatment, please notify our office as soon as possible.
These plans allow families to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for out-of-pocket medical and dental expenses (including Orthodontics and Invisalign) and can be a great savings. We recommend that you check with your plan’s administrator to learn when funds will be available, how and when services will be reimbursed, and what documentation will be required. If you need help understanding your plan’s guidelines, please call our financial coordinator, Molly, and she will be happy to assist you.
Do you need to set aside funds for orthodontic treatment?
Appointments scheduled for pre-treatment observation are excellent opportunities to plan ahead for the coming year. If you are eligible to enroll in a FSA, HSA, or HRA, please make an appointment with our office well in advance of your enrollment deadline. We will do our best to estimate expenses for the following year.
